CTRL: The Black Disabled Women Activism Digital Archive Project will collect and archive the invaluable online activism and cultural work of Black disabled women and femmes across social movements and subcultures.
The goal of the archive is to collect and preserve this important online content and make it accessible to the public in order to allow users to learn more about the online education and activism of Black disabled women.
What we collect:
- Twitter content (screenshots, data downloads
- digital zines
- content from blogs and websites
- podcasts
- copies of short social videos (TikTok and Instagram reels)
This project was originally conceived at the Longmore Institute on Disability Emerge Fellowship by Keidra Chaney.
